N°35 - Communicating Faults Through Notes of Writing and Drawing

Receiving faults and investigating garment sharing. The placement of the fault through different language. Written notes and miniature drawings, visually pointing out the fault that had appeared. 

Observing the fault, what does it need?

Two patches overlapping with incorrect stitches, small fabric pieces going through the hole, like putting a plug in a leaky pipe or open wound. Or does it need something distracting, something volumous stealing the scenes spotlight? Interwtined. Turned. Structure long. Cut-off fabric on hems attracts a wandering eye. 

In repairing by hand, giving space for thinking about how the fault appeared in the first place. Now the mend is a symbol of that fraction of a moment where a fault became the outcome of life.
