Cashmere

私たちのリサイクルカシミヤは、手作業で選別されたカシミヤ廃材から作られています。これらは品質、色、繊維の含有量によって丁寧に仕分けられ、再度編み直されています。カシミヤヤギは草を根から引き抜いて食べるため、草原の再生が難しくなり、モンゴルの草地の破壊につながります。私たちがリサイクルカシミヤを採用する理由は、こうした環境への負荷を避けるためです。また、リサイクルカシミヤはヤギによるメタン排出、土地の利用、水の汚染なども削減する効果があります。バージンカシミヤに比べて、エネルギー、染料、水の使用量も大幅に少なくて済みます。さらに、廃棄される生地の量を減らし、素材をより長く循環させることができます。

When cashmere goats are grazing, they pull grass out by the root, which stops it from being able to regenerate. We use recycled cashmere as it avoids this. It also reduces methane emissions from goats, land use and water pollution from the washing of cashmere. Recycled cashmere uses less energy, dye, chemicals and water than virgin cashmere. It also reduces the amount of fabric going into landfill and keeps materials in circulation for longer.

Cashmere is a durable and resilient fabric that resists wrinkles and maintains shape well. The fabric is also warmer than wool.
