Naturally dyed with basalt - Due to the nature of dye method variation of color is possible.

Basalt is a volcanic stone that creates lightfast shades of black and grey. It is the most common rock type to cover earth’s surface. Rich in magnesium and iron, it is formed of solidified lava. The stone is often crushed for use in construction, because of it’s durability and strength. We use basalt dye extracted from quarries in Italy, France and Cyprus.

Material

Cotton
Origin: Egypt
Certificates: Oeko-Tex

  • Cotton is a natural seed fiber.
  • It is durable, breathable, absorbent, and soft. Cotton is ideal for dyeing and printing. The material is also biodegradable and hypoallergenic.
  • This fabric is made with conventional cotton, as the fiber length of organic cotton is not long enough to achieve the quality of this fabric.

Care

We recommend a cold wash on a gentle cycle using natural detergent and hang drying for all our products. Hand washing is always a good option too. If you are not separating delicates, use a laundry bag to protect the fabric from getting damaged.

To reduce washes, we recommend airing or freezing your garments and spot cleaning whenever you have a stain. Airing helps in getting rid of the odour and you can do this by leaving your clothing outside overnight. Freezing gets rid of smell, mildew, and moths and is effective when done for 6-12 hours.
