- Baumwolle ist eine natürliche Samenfaser.
- Sie ist strapazierfähig, atmungsaktiv, saugfähig und weich. Baumwolle eignet sich ideal zum Färben und Bedrucken. Das Material ist außerdem biologisch abbaubar und hypoallergen.
- Fast alle Baumwolle wird im Wechselanbau angebaut, konventionelle Baumwolle hat jedoch generell eine höhere Umweltbelastung.
- Baserange bezieht Bio-Baumwolle, da wir sicherstellen möchten, dass bei der Produktion keine schädlichen Chemikalien verwendet werden, der Wasserverbrauch kontrolliert wird, das Wasser nicht verunreinigt wird und die Rechte der Arbeiter*innen gewahrt bleiben.
- Der ökologische Landbau verwendet agronomische, biologische und mechanische Techniken anstelle synthetischer Chemikalien.
- Bio-Baumwolle unterstützt eine gesunde Bodenbeschaffenheit und Ökosysteme und ist nicht schädlich für die menschliche Gesundheit oder die Umwelt. Es werden keine
- Pestizide oder Düngemittel verwendet. Der Großteil der von uns verwendeten Bio-Baumwolle wird außerdem durch Regen bewässert und benötigt nur wenig zusätzliche Bewässerung.
Wash your denim less to extend its life – you can air it out instead. We recommend washing your denim at a maximum 30°C inside out on a gentle cycle, as heat and friction wear the fabric down. The gentle cycle helps reduce creases and friction. Button up before washing to protect the fabric and help the garment keep its shape. Always wash with similar colors to avoid color transfer, and wash new denim separately for the first few washes as the fabric may still carry excess dye. Use a mild, pH-neutral detergent and a washing bag for extra protection. Lightly pull/stretch the denim to straighten it before hanging it to dry in the shade.
Don't bleach, rub, wring, tumble dry or dry clean as this can damage your denim. Avoid fabric softener, as it can coat the fibers, lessening the natural absorbency and breathability.
