Sweatwear

Our sweat category brings together hoodies, sweatshirts, sweatpants, and shorts across a range of fleece and rib fabrics. The hoodies and sweatshirts come in relaxed, slightly oversized fits with dropped or raglan shoulders, while sweatpants range from tapered to wide leg. Many pieces feature ribbed underarm inserts and cuffs for a closer fit at the openings, along with drawstrings at the hood or waistband and exposed contrast stitching details. Necklines vary from crewnecks to turtlenecks and zipped or pullover hoodies. The sweats are all designed as sets, with bottoms coinciding with the detailing and colors of the sweatshirts and hoodies. The collection is built mainly from organic and regenerative cotton fleece or velour, along with some blends with hemp and lyocell. Using organic cotton is important for us as it supports good soil health and ecosystems. Organic farms also generally support more plant and animal species, supporting the biodiversity of farms. It relies on natural cycles and local conditions.

Cotton, hemp and lyocell work well in sweats, because they ensure the breathability and lightness of the fabric. Velour is similar to velvet, but as it's more durable, it's ideal for sweats. It has a shiny surface and tactile handfeel. The fleece fabrics we work with are nearly always unbrushed, unless otherwise stated. That means the knit has visible loops on the inside, making the sweat feel slightly lighter, more raw and breathable. In 100% cotton, our sweats get softer over time. Our ribbed sweats are ribbed on both sides, keeping them airy and light. Like the rest of our collection, our sweats are made with care in fiber sourcing and factory relationships.
